Fuerteventura, a mother daughter holiday

Last week I was lucky enough to go on a mother-daughter holiday. For 5 nights my mum and I headed off to Fuerteventura, a small island just off the north coast of Africa. Whilst there, we both decided to use the holiday to relax. We spent most of our time at the pool and on the beach just drinking and eating. I even managed to read a couple of books whilst I was out there. So whilst I am still feeling the height of holiday blues I thought I would share some of the pictures.

We stayed in an amazing 4 star resort called Barcelo Corralejo Sands. It was a short walk from the beach and the main strip of shops and restaurants. It had two pools, for children and adults, and a great restaurant downstairs as well.

To decided to travel just with hand luggage for this trip. I packed mostly dress, dungarees and swimwear but my favourite item has to be this ASOS floral dress, I wore it on our final night and felt great in it!

I have uploaded a lot of my outfits to Instagram and all of it is tagged (spoiler: most of the stuff I wore was from primark)

I am going to write a round-up of the books I have read recently. The two books I finished on holiday though, were The Wonder by Emma Donoghue and The fault in our stars by John Green. I have been meaning to read both of these books for a long time so it was so nice to have space and time to read them.
I also started Ice cream for breakfast by Laura Jane Williams on the last day but I am still waiting to see how much I like it- being back home, and back to work, hasn't left me much time to read.

I had such an amazing time on Fuerteventura and will definitely be heading back to the Canary Islands soon! Thank you to my amazing mum for this holiday, I can't wait for our next adventure!
